Hello everybody!
I've been a member of this forum for a while now, although I never seem to have time to get here since joining as I now have a job also. Anyway, thought I'd say hi and tell everyone who is interested (!) about me:
I am 45 years old, have 2 teenage girlies, Nathalie & Lianne and a lovely hubby to whom I have been married for 4 years next Wednesday (yikes!) We had a lovely wedding and if 2005 was anything to go by, the sun will be shining - it was the hottest day in May since records began on the day we were married, unexpected and my 'best lady' my best friend Alison had to rush out in the morning and purchase a skimpy dress that matched her already bought shoes, hat and handbag as soon as she saw the weather that morning!!!
Anyway, I digress, that's me .... I enjoy crafting and have been doing it for about 5 years now but only wish I had more time to do it. I started in forums on Topaz and it just went on from there. I now use facebook as a contact for crafting and have met friends through there also, crafters and non-crafters. Of course, I make cards for family and friends but I never seem to have enough 'stock' of them and naughty me always leave until the last minute I most make cards although I did do a scrapbook last year for my Mum and Dad's 50th wedding anniversary - they loved it.
We have a lovely border collie dog, Cassey, who is 18 months old now. She is gorgeous and intelligent, all those things that border collies should be. We live in Kent, where I have lived all my life.
I work part time as an audio transcription typist for a TV Transcription Company. I love it as typing is my love, every day is a challenge in my job.
I am lucky enough to have a craft room which doubles as an office ... the only commute problems I have is getting into the bathroom to get showered in the morning! Especially difficult with 2 teenage girls!
Well that's it for me, you are probably pretty much asleep now, thanks for reading.
