Come and say HelloWell, This is Me!!!! My name is Netty - and some of you may already know me from other craft forums going under the same guise!!!  . My OH is the TB who is also on here as Admin, technical bod and general dogsbody but you never know we may get him creating an ATC yet!!!!! Any questions or queries - just shout towards him!!!
We decided to set up this little forum for those of you that love crafty based swapping ie ATCs, CJs - whatever you fancies. Many other craft forums have a limit on the number of swaps that you can be in at one time so I thought that this may help you around that. So if you fancy hosting your own crafty swap or just fancy joining in a current one - we're open for business. We're hoping to add more and more to the forum over time and would really appreciate any comments or suggestions as to what you would really like to see on this forum. We'll certainly take all your input on board. Now don't be shy - come and say Hello

Thanks for setting this up ... and thank TB for keeping us up and running (though not too fast please, not a sprinter any more!) PS .. TB.. you really should do the ATCs ... men are very good designers and once you've done one you can use it as an excuse for NOT doing more!!!! |

Can I come and join all you talented people?
If you want the biog. bit... I'm 57 (hope thats not too ancient!!), been married to Andrew for 31 years, two sons 28 and 23. 4 cats - I LOVE cats. I'm an assistant headteacher in an infant school although I didn't qualify as a teacher until I was 48. I have two dollshouses but we've no room for more so I started dabbling in scrapbooks about 3 years ago but my fondness for miniatures surfaced again and I love ATCs. Have also completed a few CJs but having a rest from them at the moment - a bit disillusioned as one of mine has never been returned. Love vintage - I keep buyingcabinet cards from a well known auction site then can't bear to alter them. I am in awe of genuinely artistic people but think that crafting gives me the opportunity to 'have a go' without making too much ofa fool of myself. Also have a 'sticky' keyboard so lots of words are joined together! BTW I was christened Freda which is probably why DH has always called me..... Pip |

My name is Cynthia, I am married with one daughter. I run my own rat rescue based in Manchester (only the fancy ones). I have been making cards etc for around 12 years and always enjoyed crafting. I have only recently joined craft forums so really enjoying all the challenges as this has taken me out of that comfort zone. Its a good way to pick up tips and share great ideas. Nice to see some familiar faces here! I'm Suzie, 36 married with two children aged 9 and 6 (girl and boy) ... Until recently I've mostly been in to scrapbooking with the odd ATC thrown in, but have recently started making more ATCs, have just discovered dotee dolls and am looking forward to having my eyes opened to more crafty stuff!! I can't draw or paint to save my life, but love doing 'arty farty' things that don't involve being able to draw!

How rude am I ?Just realised that I didn't introduce myself when I first signed up.I'm Tracy, I'm married to Ray (20 years in July) and we have one daughter Molly (Bookworm910) Poppy the dog and 2 cats Izzy and Smudge. We moved to Anglesey from Manchester 3 years ago, although Ray still has to work in Manchester. 
I home school Molly, which gives me plenty of time to craft at the other end of the table from her
I studied textiles and design at college, and have always been crafty in one way or another- there isn't much I havent had a go at TBH. I've been scrapbooking for quite some time now but have returned to it with a passion in the last few months and have become a real swap tart as I love to make things and send them to like minded people and get their creations back. |

Oooh - I notice everyone is doing a little "biog" so thought I had better add a bit about myself.
I'm Jennie - 56 yrs young, have DH - Doug and we are about to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary, mum of 3 - DD1 Lydia - 29, DS Ben - 21 & DD2 Rhiannon 17 last Wednesday! I have always enjoyed crafty hobbies, from cards, dolls houses (made lots of miniatures for it), patchwork - have YARDS of fabrics!! LOL - to scrapbooking and now ATCs, CJ and am just making my first tentative steps with "altered" books and jigsaws and whatever that may lead me to and now getting quite a collection of rubber/clear stamps - I live in very old cottage on a rock in the middle of the Irish sea - and feel very fortunate to do so as I grew up in the industrial north of England. Am looking forward to getting to know you all better and lokking forwad to swapping with you

Hi there, SuzieR told me where to find you, so I thought I'd come and see what's up.
I'm a cardmaker turned scrapbooker and altered art dabbler. I've always crafted one way and another but now my kids are 7 11 and 13 I get a bit more time than I used to. I live in the London suburbs, with said kids and DH - we've been married 15 years, no pets, a dead car (hopefully resurrectable). I love socialising with friends, travelling and exploring London when I'm not crafting. Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Don't do much in the way of cards or textiles. Got 2 very DSs of 17 and nearly 15 who make sure I have something to worry about  . Scouse originally (no jokes please) but have lived in Manchester for the last 27 years- (so why do I still feel scouse?).Don't think there's anything else to tell you about myself really.

hi everyone, I've been directed here by molsmum! My name is Lynne (no great surprise there then!!) I've been married for nearly 2 years to Roy, who I met over the internet when I joined friends re-united on the advice of my late-patrner's best friend! I have 4 children, aged 27, 25, 23 and 8, 5 step-children agend 27, 23, 15 and 13 yo twins who are currently living with us here in sunny North Wales I also have a step-grandson and another grandbaby due in december.
