own photos cj - NOW FULLhere is a cj to do where you provide enough of your own photos with your cj for everyone to do a layout for you.
first posting date to be 20th feb and every 20th after that. please do not post ages before the posting date as it will get too confusing for me to follow! cjs should be sent first class recorded in a waterproof layer inside a jiffy which can take the abuse royal mail often gives it!
please can photos be printed out / physical rather than on disc as a few people have stated they cannot print out themselves - thankyou!
if you want journalling space leaving, then please make a note of that in your 'cj rules' and if your photos need to be done in a certain order then please number them or put the persons name who will be using it on the back.
when you have received a cj please write a note in the thread so i can update who has which cj in their possession. i will not alter the list until the person has received the cj has said, rather than the person who posted it.

if anyone is new to cjs, please pm me if you feel you require any extra information or help. cjs are generally an album between 6x6 and 8x8 in size complete with album pages for everyone to create a double layout on. there is a sign in page, instruction page and it is usually bound with book rings or a bia, plus in this case the photos required to complete the layouts in your book.

I would love to join in the cj's but have NEVER heard of them, i need to know alot more before i dare put my name on the list....lol....
 this could be a dumb moment for me or have cj's been about for ages, or it could be that i have never done scrapbooking before, if it is anything to do with it. HELP!!!!!!

Not 100% sure which photos I'm using yet, can't decide! Will it need to be 10 6x4 photos, or smaller ones? Although a CD might be a good idea, then people could print off whatever size works with their LO.
And will it be ok to ask people to leave a gap for me to journal when it comes back?

Hi clairewill, i know on other cj's that people tend to put in a note if there is anything in particular that they want done. I am putting mine on disk so that people can print off whatever size pictures they want.

you can include whatever sized pictures you like hun. mine will be 6x4 caus they are already printed, but people can chop them up if they want them smaller.
if your photos have to go in a certain order remember to number them on the back or on the disc, and pop it in your 'rules' if you want space for journalling.

I have added a couple or three photo's for each double layout, you can chop them around, do what you want with them, or am i only meant to do one photo for each double layout....if you get my drift....lol...

Following on from Angel's comments- does anyone object to just having the photos on a CD? The advantage of that is that you can crop them, add any effects you fancy and generally mess them about to your liking - even do a digital LO.

i dont mind if photos are on cd or already printed.
please remember to send a COPY of your original photos cd tho caus if it got lost in the post and was the only one you had, we'd all be mortified.
angel, you can just have one photo or 2 or three for each layout. its up to you. mine will have 1, 2 or 3 for each layout but people dont have to use all the photos, if there are 3 included, they may only choose to use one and thats fine! just remember to put what you want doing in your rules so every one is clear.

I dont even have photos yet but that is not a proBlem eitther I have hundreds of CD's of DD waiting to be scrapped.

regarding photos -as to whether on a disc or not I hope that I get photos as my printer head has gone and will not be able to print any or decent quaility- if people are sending disc's could they put in some printed one for me please.

That's fine with me .... I haven't ANY photos waiting to scrap so I'm having to think up something to take!! Would anyone object if I made a sort of game of this? You wouldn't know until you opened an envelope which piccy you had to use .. and then it was a What Am I? sort of LO .. with the answer(and appropriate piccy) on the back of the page along with your "sign in" details. Does that sound OK? Please yell if it's a stupid idea and I will try to come up with something more "ordinary" ... and go out and take some more piccies!

Although it is early and I have not as yet got any photos from mine eeeekkkk I have better get a move on, although I have nearly finished CJ just gotta do signing in page and intro page and my first LO- So I guess it is not nearly finished but fear not it will be on time.

I posted this morning - it will be much nearer the due date in future as I had it all ready for the 10th! I've also included a CD and prints as I hadn't read the updated first post until after they were all on CD and I'd made a space for it in my CJ.
I have now resolved to read this thread at least three times a week to keep up to date
