I HAVE TAKEN OVER THE RUNNING OF THE CJ FROM ANNIE DUE TO HOME CIRCUMSTANCES. I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE BEST TO HAVE A NEW THREAD SO WE ALL CAN SEE THE INFO ON THE FIRST PAGE.

The current whereabouts of the CJ's are-

As Annie will not be taking part although her CJ will still be in circulation someone will have 2 at some stage.

PLEASE CAN YOU POST AS SOON AS YOU RECEIVE A CJ.

i know annie doesnt have one at the mo as the one i have was meant to be posted to her last month and would be posted to whomever annie posts to now. (as i was a month late!)

Pip's is "Images" or ?"Family" ..... and I posted it recorded/signed for to Leanne on the 20th July. Unfortunately I can't find the slip with the tracking number on it so can't see if it was signed for. I'm holding Gill's altered book, which I call Alaska, as Annie asked me not to send yet.

I haven't got one for this month yet as Annie sends to me.

hi all,
looks like everything is getting oragnised here. thanks again penny for taking over.

just an update on ste.
he is doing really well - has now come out of hdu, and off most of his drips and montiors. he is talking and has even started some physio!
obviously due to the fact he has broken his neck and back he has to lie flat for 4-6 wks until they can heal and there is no way to speed that up unfortunately, but the good nes is he has no paralysis and should in time make a full recovery.
he has been so very very lucky and im just glad it wasnt any worse Smile

Clair I will tell you a posting date as soon as I hear fron Leanie as to what cj she has. Hopefully it will not be too long a wait.
Annie glad OH is on the mend albeit slow. Great news that there will be no long term damage- I am sure that is a releive to you all.

Wahey!!! I found the tracking number for the July cj .... RM site has a signature for the 22nd July .. L Weaver ... so it definitely was delivered to the right destination.

You are correct Clair.
Right I have made the descion that anyone who has more than 1 CJ in their possesion can they please get them done ASAP and posted to the next personbefore the next offical posting date which will be friday 4th September. I know this may cause even more confusion but it may give people that extra bit of time to catch up. If you have a problem with catching up please pm me and I will try to find a solution that will be acceptable to you all.

Hi girls sorry to have been awol and holding things up a bit i feel guilty about that and i do have 3 cjs in my possesion christmas and family/boys are all ready to post so i will try post them tommorow if not then it will be tues cos of BH and will concentrate in getting who am i done and ready to post on the new posting date

No problem, Penny ... I have a clear plastic magazine rack that hangs on the wall ... all the cjs get put in that when they are done ...safely out of harms way until it's time to post them ......assuming I have managed to think up something in time, of course!!

once upon a time is was due to be posted 4th september and the turkey is due 4th october.posted Turkey tooo early sorry.

I have edited the first post to include the posting dates of each CJ I hope this will help you all to know which to post and when.

Is'nt hope wonderful !! Both cjs arrived this morning .... our postie looked somewhat flummoxed by the black plastic wrapping, but it did it's job really well and they are safe and sound.

Penny .. do I post these off as and when I finish them or is there an actual date for them .... "Christmas" .. and .. "Here Come the Boys" ?

Now I am REALLY CONFUSED !!!

Last time I looked the front post said to send "Things of Importance" on the 4th October.
I didn't receive the other two until this week .... so how can I post on the 4th September?
If I post "Boys" in October poor Leanne will end up with three cjs all coming at once!!!

i think what penny means is get the first 2 u have done asap so that you have 1 left to post on fourth of next month! try and get them through as they were behind! lol confusing i know!!

The 4th october should see all the cj's going home. I am looking forward to seeing mine- seems ages ago it started.
Can you all check the first post about when you should be posting the cj's as I did make a bit of a boo boo!!! This was because nearly half the cj's were with 2 people and I somehow miss calculated posting dates so sorry to those of you who thought they had a bit longer to do an entry.

I also have spring. I will get spring done and hopefully posted this weekend and then get photo art done early in the week and posted home and then that is me done. The cj should all be close to being returned home now. I know a couple of you have more than one so you may be a bit later than 4th october home date. But just do them and sed on as soon as you can. I finished images today but missed the PO so monday I will post. Cant wait to have mine back home. I think I may have confused some people about spring- that sorry is for another cj group LOL This age thing is to blame!

Following the Royal Mail ballot resulting in a majority vote for a nationwide strike Sad

could I ask everyone who has a cj that is ready to post to do so ASAP as the union has to give 7 days notice of the strike. That should give you time to finish and get it posted and it getting to its destination before the strike starts. It would be great to get this ended before the strikes begin as it would be such a shame if cj's get delayed and or lost in the mountains of mail that will pile up in sorting offices across the UK Shocked
